Unfortunately, Activision wont suffer a bit. Most people don't even know what went down between Activision and IW. They will milk the franchise and people will gobble it up on hype alone. MW2 already proved that. The only ones to suffer, whether they are smart enough to know it or not, will be gamers.

I don't think this video can be taken as canon. In fact the very very end of GOW1 really cant be either. I think these existed back in the day as ideas for a possible sequel if the original game did well. But the story has gone a different rout since then.

Um sorry but no. I've played Bayonetta and I've played GOW 1 & 2 and they are both pretty loose button mashers. The only difference is that GOW has a pretty good story and wonderful images where as Bayonetta has a nonsensical story and pretty mediocre graphics and level design.
Wont affect me in the least because I don't hand Activision my money by purchasing their crappy half finished games.
Funny, I bought Assassins Creed 2 for PS3 and it wasn't complete either. My buddy had the same problem on his X-box version. Crazy....
